Pop star Justin Bieber has left his fans grieving over the loss of his social media account, losing nearly 78 million followers.

The Canadian singer had his account removed from Instagram just days after his fans and ex Selena Gomez started fighting in the comments of his pictures. Bieber warned his fans to stop harassing Sofia Richies, his new 17 year old girlfriend, threatening to make his account private if they continued writing abusive messages aimed at her.

Bieber made the decision to delete his Instagram when his famous ex, Selena Gomez, took it a step further and defended his fans by commenting “If you can’t handle hate then stop posting pictures of your girlfriend lol. It should be between you two. Don’t be mad at your fans. They loved you and supported you before anyone did”.

Justin replied by saying Selena used him for attention.

Their argument got worse when Gomez replied saying:

“Funny how the ones that cheated multiple times, are pointing the finger at the ones that were forgiving and supportive, no wonder fans are mad. Sad. All love.”

The feud ended when Bieber deleted his account. Selena later took to snapchat to reveal that she regretted the argument. It turns out that Bieber doesn't have any regrets about deleting his account though.

Bieber deleted the account all in order to defend Richies, and the whole situation has brought them even closer together.
